1. Do
I need to install anything to use this program?
SiteExpress is a web browser-based application. The only thing you
need to build a website, or manage a website, is an Internet connection.
There are no other programs to install.
2. Can I have my own
domain (.com) name?
Yes, you can have a custom domain name (example: www.yoursite.com)
that points to a website built on SiteExpress. Just let us know
what domain you want to register, and we will set you up.
3. How do I add my
own header graphic?
Check out manage_site_options.htm
for a tutorial on setting up your own header image.
4. How do I add my
own image to the left hand side of the website?
This is done from the Left Nav section of the website administration
tool.

5. What E-commerce
features are built into the Cart and Admin tool?
The shopping cart built into SiteExpress is fully functional,
meaning it has everything you need to input products into your online
catalog, display them for your customers, allow them to check out,
then view your orders and statistics on your visitors. It
has integration with real-time UPS shipping, real-time 3rd party
credit card processors, plus various other shipping methods and
check out methods.
6. How do I upload
images?
The admin tool provides a full image management section. click

7. Do I need to know
HTML, have programming skills, or possess multimedia design skills?
SiteExpress was designed to allow users to build powerful websites
without knowing anything about HTML, programming, or graphic design.
If you can navigate the Web, you can build and manage a website
on SiteExpress.
8. I already can do
html design, can I use my skills with this program?
Though you don't need to know html to utilize SiteExpress, it is
so flexable that you can certainly put any programming skills you
have to use. The WYSIWYG browser-based content editor, allows you
to copy and paste html code, or write your own code for use on your
website. Plus, almost every portion of the website can be changed
to fit your business needs. This includes adding your own images,
creating online forms, and creating links to other websites and
pages.
9. I don't want to
use the e-commerce portion of the software, do I have to?
No, if you want to use your website without the ecommerce functioning,
you can simply turn it off from the website administration tool.
Just click on "Ecommerce" then click on "Turn E-Commerce
Off".
10. How do I change
my footer information?
The footer information is changed from the "Company Information"
section of the website. Just click on: Company Information from
the admin homepage, then change your information to fit your new
needs.
11. Why does my admin
tool time out and force me to login again?
The admin is set to timeout after 20 minutes of idle time. This
is a security precaution. To log back in, merely re-enter your password,
and you can get back to work.
12. How do I add
a form to my website?
There is a form building tool integrated in with SiteExpress. To

13. How do I add
a calendar or other tool to the site?
Every new page you create has various "Page Types" that you can
specify it. If you set a pagetype to calendar, for example, the
calendar will instantly be added to that page, and it will be seen
when a visitor views your website. To remove all tools from a given
page, change the Page Type to "Text Only".
14. Can I change
site text colors or background colors in SiteExpress?
Yes, you can change all colors in SiteExpress. Goto "Site Options"
then Click on the "Site / Text Colors" button on the right hand
side. From there you can make the modifications you require.

What is the best way to get listed in search engines?
While there isn't any easy way to get listed in search engines in
this day and age, you can certainly get off to a good start by submitting
your new website to the top search engines. We have provided links
to some of the major ones in the "Marketing" section of the website
admin tool.
